Cherry Blossoms!

Today was a beautiful day!  We got up early and after an amazing breakfast made by Sara's dad (omelets!) we went to DC!!  We had a rockin' good time!

We rode on the metro:

Then we walked down to the Tidal Basin to take in the Cherry Blossoms! They were beautiful!!  You all know how I love to climb trees so I got busy!

Sara climbed some too!

Then we had a little picnic.  I must say those colorful goldfish are tasty!!

We also walked by the Washington Monument

Then Sara insisted we must have some ice cream!!!  Her mom wanted to share a Dove bar with her but no Sara opted for the Rocket popsicle.  She shared it with her mom and sister but didn't let me have any. I guess she thought I'd make a mess of it.  Hmph!

Can you tell Cori loved it!  I think the popsicle was her favorite part of the trip!  (she was not enjoying our view of the Capitol)

Then we headed home, but wait the fun didn't end there.  They took me to Yoga class where they played yoga bingo.  Check me out, I'm so cool, I'm doing the 'monkey' pose!!
